E is for Eclair, F is for Froyo, G is for Gingerbread! What do you think H should be? I call Honey.
Gingerbread will be an interesting release – competing with the iPhone 4 and the “Holiday” release of Windows Phone 7, the main aim of this version will be a redesigned UI, hopefully making skinning by manufacturers unnecessary/unfavorable. It should also work better with larger form factors (although ultimately Android should not be ported to tablets for obvious reasons, mainly being that it was designed for phones, but maybe 3.0 will remedy this).
So here’s hoping that Gingerbread is crunchy, and by crunchy, I mean baked to perfection – not to mention delicious. Can’t wait for the large dessert version
